A Toronto police officer had an easy arrest Saturday night when a drunk man hopped into the back of their cruiser, mistaking it for a taxi.
The officer was stopped at a police station garage in Toronto’s Liberty Village area to get gas when the man climbed into the cruiser, according to The Canadian Press.
The man was arrested after the officer discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant, said spokeswoman Constable Allyson Douglass-Cook.
