A woman who formerly served with the Detroit Police has learned that showing some skin to the world can come with consequences.

Zanelle Zielinski was to be suspended the day after she resigned after DPD discovered the rookie officer had a paywalled porn page on Instagram and OnlyFans.

“One of our officers through her Instagram account had a paywall set up and was posting pornographic videos on the other side of the paywall,” said Chris Graveline, the director of the Detroit Police Department’s Professional Standards section.

Officer Zielinski had joined the DPD in March, and was still on probationary status.

According to Fox 2, professionals within the DPD are not allowed to debase their reputations in such manners.

“One of the bedrocks of DPD is you have to keep your private life unsullied as well. This is a major point of emphasis to our officers so when we see something like this, Command moves very quickly. Chief James White takes these things very seriously because it represents not just DPD but all of the city of Detroit,” Graveline said.

While OnlyFans has taken off in popularity with young women, only a very slim margin of account holders are successful- and many more are learning there can be consequences of the trade.
