Detroit Police are asking for help from the local citizenry after an unidentified gunman was caught on a resident’s doorbell camera early Saturday morning.
The incident took place near the infamous 8 Mile and Greenfield crossroad at around 1:34 AM, when an unidentified black male armed with a now-vintage variant of the Intratec TEC-9.
Shivering in the cold and blatantly brandishing his pistol across his chest, the suspect walked up to the door and rang the doorbell, unaware that he was being monitored on camera.
When the suspect realized he was on film, he attempted to conceal his face and fled toward his accomplice, who was waiting for him in the front yard.
Both subjects then comically fled into the icy night, not realizing that was pretty pointless to run at this point.
Fox 2 reports that the Detroit Police’s Eighth Precinct is asking for information on the identities of the suspects, although -given the nature of the area- it is unlikely if anyone will step forward to “snitch.”
