The Berkeley County Sheriff’s office has released body cam video of a lifesaving incident.

According to the sheriff’s Facebook page, the deputy had stopped a vehicle for speeding. As he was getting out of his patrol car the driver jumped out saying the baby in the car had stopped breathing.

Apparently, the two women had just put the baby down for a nap after feeding her and found the newborn unresponsive.

Deputy Kimbro immediately began lifesaving first aid on the limp and unresponsive baby.

He was able to clear the baby’s airway and keep her heart beating until EMS could arrive.
