The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident where a deputy struck a teen in the head after they had already arrested him.
In the social media video, a deputy is using a hose to wash the teen’s face when another deputy comes over and appears to throw an elbow, striking the teen’s head.
According to the News-Press, the deputy has been placed on administrative leave while an internal investigation is completed.
The teen was arrested two days after he evaded police officers and lead them on a 100-mph chase.

Fox 4 says the incident report shows the teen was being arrested for violating his parole. During his arrest, he was kicking the door in the patrol car. After multiple warnings, a deputy pepper sprayed the suspect to subdue him.
One deputy then used the hose to help clear the pepper spray out of the teen’s eye, that’s when the other deputy comes over and hit the teen.
