Authorities in Kansas are asking for help in identifying a vehicle occupied by two men who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a female deputy from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
JCSO spokeswoman Darla Jaye said the deputy -who is in her early twenties- was out of uniform and on her way into work Friday at night at Booking Central when she was forced into a blue four-door Mazda against her will. Jaye also confirmed that the deputy was sexually assaulted.
The incident began outside of a QuikTrip convenience store where the men reportedly saw and followed the deputy for about 1.5 miles before striking their prey.
The sheriff’s office is looking to identify and speak with the two men involved, whom they are calling “persons of interest.” They were spotted in a blue new-model Mazda. A description of the men involved is currently unavailable.
According to KansasCity.com, Police said they have received a few calls after some vehicle sightings but are looking for any and all information on the abductors. Information can be relayed by calling Johnson County sheriff’s dispatchers at 913-782-0720 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
