A Texas sandwich shop employee is spreading hate instead of cheer this holiday season. A Guadalupe County Deputy found an insulting message on his receipt after ordering food from the drive-thru window at Schlotzsky’s in Seguin, Texas.
An image of the receipt, with the words F*ck U” printed on it, was posted on social media and has been shared over 1,700 times.
KHOU confirms that the employee has since been fired.
The sheriff told the local station they harbor no ill-will towards the sandwich shop. He says this was not directed at law enforcement. The Seguin Police Dept. issued a statement afterwards on social media to clear the air about what happened.
It read in part: “Their management is 100% convinced that this was not directed at law enforcement. We believe them. The store owner is mortified and has told us that a young employee was goofing off at the register (long story) and she didn’t intend this to actually show up on the paper receipt but rather only to be seen by another person at a different register. Her unkind words did print out though on the receipt. Actually, she had no way to see who was in the drive through.”
The Seguin Schlotzsky’s reportedly took sandwiches over to deputies at the Guadalupe Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, to make up for what happened.
According to Sheriff Zwicke, “they were gone instantly.”

I think this urchin knew damn good and well what it was doing…firing is exactly what it deserved. This comment was directed at LEOs. While not a threat, this showed the total lack of respect the urchin had.
