The body of a woman who had been beaten to death was found hanging on a fence in a neighborhood in Ohio.

Tammy Dixon, a neighborhood resident, thought it was a Halloween decoration before realizing it was a dead body.

“It was the worst Halloween scene you could ever imagine,” said Dixon.

A man walking his dog saw her body on the fence and thought it looked too life like to be a Halloween decoration and called the police.

When the police arrived at the scene, they quickly realized that it wasn’t a Halloween decoration. The police said it was the body of a murder victim who got her shirt caught on the fence as she fled her killer.

There was a blood trail at the scene that showed that the woman was fleeing her attacker when the sleeve of her shirt got caught as she tried to scale the fence. The woman was unable to free her hand and remained suspended on the fence where she died from her injuries.

According to ABC 13, the body was identified as that of Rebecca Cade, a 31-year-old Chillicothe, Ohio resident. The police said Cade died due to blunt force trauma to the head and neck. Cade’s body had been hanging on the fence for an unspecified amount of time as passersby thought it was part of a gory Halloween decoration.

Cade’s body was found near a construction site. Her body was severely injured, which made it difficult for the police to determine if she was a male or female.

27-year-old Donnie Cochenour Jr. was arrested for Cade’s murder. According to the police, Cochenour admitted to getting into a fight with Cade at the railway tracks, and the police were able to piece the rest of the story together from what they saw at the crime scene.

Cochenour has been charged with murder, and his bail is set at $2 million.
