A Florida K-9 became a real pain in the backside for a fleeing suspect, sinking his teeth into crime in a big way.
Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Carmack was forced to pursue a potentially stolen vehicle on Tuesday after the driver of the vehicle failed to stop.
When the vehicle turned into a driveway, both the driver and passenger fled, Carmack’s cue to unleash K-9 Shep.
According to Fox 13, Shep wasted no time, taking off like a flash after a suspect in a pink shirt and jumping over a fence with ease.
By the time Carmack caught up with Shep, he had his teeth sunk deep into the lower back of the pink-shirted man, thrashing his head about with animalistic tenacity. A job well done, Carmack congratulated his partner and took the suspect into custody.
The second suspect was located by another K-9 and his partner.
In the aftermath of the incident, it was discovered that the two suspects left a child inside of the car when they decided to flee on foot.
Additional details on the arrest are expected to be released at 11PM tonight. Updates to follow.
