Riverside Police are searching for a suspect who stole a 12-pack of beer and then assaulted an officer while resisting arrest.
According to WHIO, the incident happened last Monday after a grocery store clerk alerted police that a man had stolen a 12-pack of beer from the store.
The officer in the video found the man and attempted to detain him for questioning.
The man, who remains unidentified, then asked why he was being handcuffed and resisted arrest.
The Ohio officer then deployed his taser, twice, to subdue the man onto his back. That’s when the man resists again, is able to get onto his feet while pushing the officer down, and lands some wild punches against the officer’s head.
The suspect then runs off, without the stolen beer, as the officer radios in what happened.
