Police are attempting to locate a Texas woman after police believed she killed a world-class cyclist after finding out she was romantically involved with her partner.

According to NBC News, police are searching for Kaitlin Armstrong for killing Anna Moriah Wilson on May 11th.

Wilson was in Texas for a race when her body was found by her friend at an Austin home.

It’s believed Colin Strickland was in a three-year relationship with Kaitlin Armstrong, but at some point during a break began dating Wilson. When Armstrong found out about the relationship she “became furious and was shaking in anger,” according to the affidavit.

Armstrong has not been heard from since May 13th.

Velo News described Wilson as a “dominant” mountain biking and gravel racer, winning several races this year and resigning her position at a bike company to pursue full-time racing.
