An officer in La Vista, Nebraska got resourceful after spotting a cat stuck in a tree, late at night, in a local park.
Officer TJ Markowsky propped a shield against the tree while another officer used his Taser to shine the red dot onto the makeshift “bridge” and lure the cat down.

The photogenic feline complied and made her way down, but not before the officers snapped some Twitter-worthy photos.
“Cat is in custody. Humane Society on the way. Charges pending for scratching me,” the tweet by Markowsky read.

WOWT reported that the other officer wasn’t thrilled about the extra paperwork for using his Taser on the job, but all in all, it was a very rewarding call.
