Several fallen Chicago Police officers will be honored in Washington, DC, on Friday, as CPD commanders escort the families of the lost for National Police Week.
The event begins on Saturday and will end with a ceremony at the US Capitol on Wednesday, according to CBS Local.
The families of four fallen officers killed in 2018 -Commander Paul Bauer, Officer Samuel Jimenez, Officer Eduardo Marmolejo, and Officer Conrad Gary- will be taken around DC by Chicago police superintendent Eddie Johnson and other Chicago police commanders.
