A Canadian driver in Manitoba paid dearly for his temper tantrum after receiving a speeding ticket, earning a separate ticket for littering after he tossed the citation into the wind.
The cantankerous vehicle operator was pulled over by the Manitoba Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and was no doubt politely issued a citation for driving too fast (this is Canada, after all).
Dashcam footage, however, shows that the citation did not go over well with the driver, who held the ticket out the window and let the cold prairie winds take it away.
DYK? If you throw your speeding ticket out the window, you can also be fined an additional $174 for littering under the Highway Traffic Act? Please slow down & drive safe. If you have questions about your ticket, please speak to the officer. #rcmpmb #TrafficTues #noexcuses pic.twitter.com/z8HM192Fm8

The tantrum earned the driver a $174 ticket for littering.
The footage was posted to the RCMP Manitoba Twitter page on “Traffic Tuesday,” with a courteous warning to those who consider emulating the driver.
“Please slow down & drive safe,” the tweet read. “If you have questions about your ticket, please speak to the officer.”
