The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says it arrested 176 men as part of a human trafficking sting, and one of the men happened to be on his honeymoon.
According to KIRO-7, Paul Turovsky was singled out by the sheriff because it was revealed that he had left his sleeping wife at their hotel to meet up with an undercover deputy who he thought was a prostitute. Turovsky was apparently on his honeymoon.
“We all probably have questions about how long this marriage lasted, but I think the only question here, with it ending so quickly, as a wedding guest, was it too late to get the gifts that they gave returned back to them?” said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Some of the 176 suspects weren’t just trying to solicit prostitutes, but some were attempting to coerce underage children to have sex with them.
Among the arrests were also two suspects who were accused of traveling from Massachusetts to Tampa with two missing teenagers.
