A man was shot and wounded after pulling a weapon out on two University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus police officers early Tuesday morning.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the man was found sleeping inside the Fine Arts Complex.
The officers attempted to wake the man up, and when he did, began to fight with the officers.
Officers responded to a report of a man sleeping in a building. A physical altercation took place. Officers discovered the man had a weapon and shot him during the altercation. Officers immediately administered first aid. Both officers were taken to the hospital. (2/4)

When the officers noticed he had a weapon they shot and wounded the man.
He’s listed in stable condition.
No students, staff, or faculty were hurt in the incident.
