A Fort Lauderdale high school was put on lockdown Monday morning after there was a report of a potential active shooter inside.
Fort Lauderdale police immediately responded to the call and began sweeping the classrooms searching for a possible gunman.
A video posted on Facebook shows heavily armored and armed officers searching each room making sure there was no threat.
According to WPLG, a student allegedly brought a weapon into the school.
Police confirmed they did not find a gunman or a weapon on campus.
This is the second incident in as many weeks involving a fake report of a gun on campus.
