Eye witnesses are reporting that a man who was threatening police with a rock at Dallas Love Field airport was shot by officers after refusing to stop advancing and drop the rock.
The incident took place at the entrance to the baggage claim area.
The incident is believed to have started as a domestic incident where a man attacked the mother of his children, throwing large landscaping stones at her car. When police were alerted to the disturbance and ordered the man to stop, he refused and advanced on officers carrying one of the stones. After refusing to stop and drop the rock, at least one officer fired multiple shots at the man, striking him multiple times.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
