A military judge has set a Jan. 11, 2021, trial date for the five men accused of plotting the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.
According to the N.Y. Times, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four other men will have a joint death-penalty trial at Guantanamo Bay, where they’ve been held since being captured by U.S. forces.
Prosecutors now have to turn over all materials to the defense team by Oct. 1st.
