
A Lafayette police officer was accidentally shot by another officer while conducting an investigation.
The wounded officer was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
The circumstances that led to the shooting haven’t been released yet nor have the identities of the officers involved.

The streets where the incident took place have been closed while authorities investigate what took place.
