A massive police response is at the Kroger grocery store in Jeffersontown, KY a suburb of Louisville.
Reports are that multiple people have been shot and there is at least one dead.
The local NBC affiliate, Wave 3, is reporting that one of the deceased is currently covered in the parking lot.
Early reports indicate gunfire erupted in the store before two men were seen firing at each other in the parking lot, but those details have not been confirmed.
