Update: A member of the Cincinnati City Council has confirmed there are multiple fatalities.
Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld tweeted, “Multiple shot, and tragically there are fatalities. Details still emerging. Pray for our city.”
The University of Cincinnati Medical Center confirmed that it had received four victims from the shooting.
Earlier:
A suspect who shot multiple people at a Fifth Third bank in downtown Cincinnati is now in custody.
The scene has just been declared secure by authorities and ATF is on scene.
There are multiple gunshot victims but it is yet unknown if there are any fatalities.
No officers are reported injured at this time. Witnesses are reporting they heard between 12 and 15 shots.
