UPDATE: The Locust Grove police officer who was shot has died. One of the two deputies who was shot is in fair condition after being hit in the vest, the other is in surgery and was hit below the vest.
Earlier:
Two Henry County Sheriff’s deputies and one Locust Grove police officer were shot this morning south of Atlanta.
Two of the officers were airlifted to local hospitals and one was taken by ambulance. The suspected shooter is reportedly deceased.
The incident took place in a residential area with possibly 2 crime scenes.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that it is involved in the investigation.
