Baltimore City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts was recently seen tackling a protestor amid the riots in the city.
Batts, who has become a regular at press conferences assuring balance will be restored to Baltimore, has been known to use more than his words to advocate for peace. Photos on Daily Mail show the commissioner chasing away two protestors, grabbing one of the young men as he tried to run away.

At one of the press conferences Batts said, “This is not protesting. This is not your first amendment rights. This is just criminal acts doing damage to a community.” When speaking about the assistance the police needed from the National Guard he said, “They just outnumbered us and outflanked us. We needed to have more resources out there.”
