The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has released body cam video showing a traffic officer grab a young man by his pants and pull him to safety after he attempted to jump off a bridge.

According to the Sheriff’s Facebook page, Brian Rehg and his fellow deputy, Chris McCarter, grabbed and held onto the young man just seconds before he went over the bridge.

Sheriff Tom Spangler praised his deputies’ actions in saving the man’s life during this April incident.

The video does not have video and the sheriff did not disclose why the young man attempted to jump over the bridge.
