Seattle Police have released body cam footage of an officer-involved shooting that recorded a potentially suicidal man yelling at officers that they would have to shoot him before he dropped his gun.

The shooting happened on March 19th.

According to KOMO News, a family member called police alerting them of the potentially dangerous man.

Officers tried to reason with the man and gave him commands to drop the gun. He responded by telling the officers they’d have to shoot him first.

In the video, you can hear the bullets being fired at the officers before they returned.

The man was hit and injured, though not fatally.

He is at the hospital in serious condition.

None of the officers were injured.
