The Tulsa Police Department has released body cam video that proves a woman was lying on social media when she claimed four officers were harassing her, her daughter, and her daughter’s friends while they were sitting in a car in front of her home.

The harsh Facebook post went viral within the community and caught the attention of the city council.

Due to the seriousness of the accusations, Tulsa PD began looking into the June 17th incident.

The department recently released the body cam video and it tells a strikingly different story than what the woman described.

The woman claims that four officers surrounded the girls.  She also claimed that additional backup was called in. Instead, the video shows only two officers asking the girls a couple of questions during a 30-second interaction.

The two officers then speak with the mother briefly to confirm what the girls had told them, and then leave.

The entire incident lasted less than two minutes.
