Police in Anchorage have released a dash camera video of a traffic stop that featured an unexpected guest.
A curious beaver wandered into the highway to get a better look at the action taking place, before scurrying back to the safety of the woods.
Anchorage PD had some fun with the video and put together a clever Facebook post about it, which of course is now going viral.
“We say it all the time: Rubbernecking is bad.”
“Officers Parry and Grant were conducting a traffic stop when they noticed this nosy little fella standing in the middle of the Glenn Highway to get a better view of the action. Wildlife: they’re just like us! Thankfully he didn’t end up a speed bump. That would’ve been depressy (depressing + messy). Nothing to see here, buddy. Scurry on”
