The California Highway Patrol station in Truckee got a curious visitor this month- a bored and hungry bear, who apparently didn’t have correct change for the vending machine.
The curious bear walked right into the CHP-Donner Pass weigh station on November 17, observing the vending machines and talking an investigative stroll before leaving, with two patrolmen not far behind him.
CHP-Donner Pass posted the security camera footage to their social media page the following day,
“We had an unexpected visitor last night at the facility,” the agency wrote.
CHP posted a follow-up video on Saturday, noting that their bear friend had made a return visit to the weigh station grounds.
