A prison guard in Australia admitted to having sex with an inmate will not be sentenced until next year.
Sydney prison guard Melissa Goodwin, previously employed by the Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre in Silverwater, pleaded guilty through her lawyer to one count of engaging in a relationship with inmate Corey London.
Wearing a black dress, Goodwin reportedly whispered “what the f**k” after the judge ruled a sentencing hearing would be set for the summer of 2021.
According to Knewz, Goodwin was also accused of smuggling contraband and even skipping a hearing to work out at the gym.
Needless to say, Goodwin is no longer employed by the prison system.
An amateur bodybuilder, Goodwin’s alleged romance with London began last November.
