Arrest made after group of teens seen beating homeless woman while one filmed it

The Cincinnati area known as Over-the-Rhine was once known for being a dangerous place prior to gentrification- but spectres of the past appear to be reluctant to let go after a group of teens gang-beat a homeless woman last month.

One nineteen-year-old, Kadmeil Brandon of West End, was arrested after he was identified as one of the young men who savagely pummeled the displaced woman and stole her shoe. He is also accused of filming the attack.

The suspects approached the woman on electric scooters and began attacking her without warning.

According to Cincinnati.com, the woman reported the incident on July 15, but then vanished- ultimately resulting in her being reported missing.

Three days later, the woman was found.

Interestingly, the teenagers chose to beat the woman under the watchful eye of a public security camera, resulting in the identification of at least one suspect.

The woman sustained serious injuries in the attack, and Brandon is currently sitting in the Hamilton County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

He is charged with aggravated riot, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault and is scheduled to appear in court on September 8.
