Phoenix police are saying thank you to a passerby who stopped a suspect from kidnapping an 11-year-old girl by pulling the suspect off the girl and pointed a gun at him to scare him off.
According to Fox 10, police are still searching for that suspected kidnapper.
Police say the man came up from behind, grabbed the girl’s arm, and put his arm over her face.
When he began talking to her, the good samaritan stepped in and knocked him down.
He then pulled out a gun and told him to leave.
The suspect ran away.
Police have increased its patrol in the area for the time being as they search for the suspected kidnapper.
