In another case of ‘you can’t make this stuff up,’ an allegedly drunk man wearing a clown costume was arrested for DUI and an outstanding felony warrant on Saturday night.
Cops say 51-year old Joel Allan Sloan was pulled over outside Birmingham– after another driver spotted his Ford SUV weaving in and out of traffic.
Sloan apparently “gave no explanation” for his strange attire, according to KSLA News, but told the deputy that he “just had a few drinks.”
Local media reports say Sloan was also charged in connection with an outstanding felony theft warrant. He’s being held on $2,500 bond in the county jail.
The rainbow wig and colorful clown suit were taken off for the mug shot, which was posted by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
