Akron Police Officers are on the hunt for a man they say has defecated on 19 cars since May 2012. The suspect has been caught in the act after a woman set up a camera because her car had been pooped on seven times while parked in her driveway.
Another victim told NewsChannel 5 the suspect has hit his car six times and has also proceeded to smear the feces on the hood, door handles, gas tank cover, windshields and mirrors. The defecator makes his moves between 4 a.m and 6 a.m.
None of the victims have been able to identify the man, but the police have received several tips about him. Once captured, the suspect could be charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief or criminal damaging charges. There are no clear motives behind the acts, but officers are diligently working to get to the bottom of it. No arrests have been made as of Thursday.
