“Because I Got High” and “Colt 45″ rapper Afroman is being sued by cops who raided his home last year. TMZ reports the hip-hop star’s home was searched for narcotics by Ohio sheriff’s deputies in August, but no drugs were found.
Afroman, who was not home at the time, claims the deputies seized $400 without returning it and started using photos and video from the raid captured by his security cameras to make money from music videos and merchandise.
In the lawsuit, deputies say they didn’t give permission to use their images and likenesses for profit. Afroman, meanwhile, argues that “My house is my property, my video camera films, everything on my property as they begin, stealing my money, disconnecting plus destroying my video camera system, they became my property!”
