At least one student was hurt in a shooting at an Arkansas high school Monday morning, officials said.

The shooting at Watson Chapel Junior High School in Pine Bluff remains under investigation, but the school district described the situation as “an isolated incident” and said all other students were safe.
“The parent of the student hurt has been notified so if you have not been notified by the school your student is safe and secure,” district officials said in a Facebook post.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not known. A suspect was reportedly taken into custody, but there was no word on the person’s identity or possible motive.
All school campuses in the area were locked down as a precaution.
“The police are not letting anyone in and out of the buildings,” district officials said.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Pine Bluff Police Department are investigating.
