New York’s strict gun control doesn’t seem to be working well for them after a shooting took place in Long Island, resulting in three wounded and one dead.
In what seems to be yet another case of saturated gun crime coverage in the United States, the Tuesday morning shooting at the Stop & Shop is a curious case, as it takes place in a state known for stricter gun laws.
The shooting, believed by Nassau County Police to have been carried out by 30-year-old Gabriel DeWitt Wilson, took place in the upstairs office portion of the store.
Two individuals were reported wounded and one was killed, according to NBC New York.
The suspect fled the scene and was seen carrying a small handgun.
“Do not approach if you see him; please call 911 immediately,” Nassau County police warned. “If you you have ANY information regarding this person of interest, please call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).”
